The 2012–13 MacroMonitor database includes responses for 4,261 respondents to questions asked in the survey and additional variables created to expedite analyses. The data are projected to 130 million U.S. economic households.

This Data Documentation volume is a guide for MacroMonitor data users that accompanies the ASCII text format data set provided on CD ROM. The Data Documentation contains the survey questionnaire followed by a listing of the additional created variables, "Additions to Questionnaire." In the questionnaire, record (or card) numbers are indicated at the top of each page and next to a question when a record begins in the middle of a page. Column locations for each response are indicated in parentheses near each response line or box.
