25 June 2009 Workshop
About the Meeting
This workshop focused on design of effective learning and collaboration in virtual worlds. Based on our experience in earlier workshops and meetings, this topic emerged as an important one that we felt we needed to address—and one that we have not previously focused on directly. We therefore decided we would use this workshop to look back and examine what lessons we have learned so far about effective design of learning and collaboration in 3D immersive environments and to bring in a number of experts with strong background and interesting perspectives on this topic.
